The Nigeria Customs Service has reaffirmed its commitment to collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
This followed courtesy visits to the Ibeto Seaport Area 5 Command in Port Harcourt.
The Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Usman Yahaya, received Bundu Ama community leaders at the Command headquarters.
The community leaders praised his humility, openness, and inclusive leadership approach.

They described the warm reception as a foundation for trust and peaceful coexistence.
They also pledged continued community support for Customs operations.
In response, Comptroller Yahaya thanked the delegation for the visit.
He stressed that host community cooperation strengthens Customs effectiveness.
He reaffirmed readiness to support community-focused initiatives.
According to him, mutual trust and respect ensure operational stability.
Similarly, the Command hosted officials from the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency.
The delegation was led by South-South Zonal Director, Angela Iwobi.
She commended the Comptroller’s open-door policy and cooperation.
She expressed interest in stronger environmental compliance at the seaport.
Comptroller Yahaya assured NESREA of full institutional support.
He said inter-agency synergy remains critical to national objectives.
The visit aligns with the collaboration policy championed by Adewale Adeniyi.
