Nollywood actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye has scored a digital hit with her latest film, Where Love Lives. The movie reached millions of views on YouTube shortly after its release.

Released on December 24, 2025, the film gained 2.5 million views in the first 24 hours. By the third day, it had surpassed 6 million views on Ademoye’s official channel, Bimbo Ademoye TV.

Produced with A3 Studios, the romantic comedy stars Uzor Arukwe, Chioma Nwosu, and Osas Ighodaro. The story follows a couple navigating love, ambition, and tensions in one of Lagos’ most exclusive estates. Its mix of romance and humor struck a chord with viewers.

Industry experts say Where Love Lives shows the growing power of digital Nollywood releases. Ademoye’s channel has about 1.3 million subscribers, making it one of the largest producer-led YouTube platforms in Nigeria.

The film also outperformed recent Nollywood YouTube releases. For instance, Omoni Oboli’s Love in Every Word recorded 4.3 million views in its first 72 hours. Analysts call this trend the rise of Nollywood’s YouTube blockbuster economy.

The success highlights a shift in how Nigerians watch films. Digital platforms like YouTube now offer an alternative to cinemas, especially for audiences outside major cities.

For Ademoye, this milestone adds to her journey from actress to producer and content creator. Since 2014, she has starred in hits like Backup Wife and Sugar Rush before moving into digital film production.
