Bauchi/Gombe Customs Command Wins Jogging Category at NAF Fitness Competition

The Bauchi/Gombe Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has won the jogging category at the 2025 Annual 10-Kilometre Jogging and Walking Competition organized by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Bauchi.

The event, held on October 18, 2025, brought together personnel from various security agencies to promote unity, discipline, and physical fitness among Nigeria’s uniformed services.

Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Sani Bello, who led his officers to the competition, commended the Nigerian Air Force for creating a platform that fosters inter-agency collaboration and encourages the culture of fitness within the security community.

Speaking after the victory, Comptroller Bello praised his team’s performance and resilience, attributing their success to teamwork, discipline, and regular physical training.

He noted that physical fitness enhances operational efficiency and effectiveness among officers.

Bello reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to collaboration with other security agencies and restated its alignment with the vision of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, which prioritizes professionalism, discipline, and the welfare of officers and men of the Service.
