The All Progressives Congress has dismissed claims linking it to a reported shooting involving ADC members in Edo State.

The ruling party faulted ADC leaders for blaming the APC before any police investigation.

It said such accusations show political immaturity and disregard for the rule of law.

The APC rejected ADC references to alleged “acts of terrorism” as reckless and irresponsible.

According to the APC, such claims trivialise Nigeria’s fight against terrorism and insult frontline security personnel.

The party stressed that violence has no place in Nigeria’s political space.

It condemned the shooting incident and urged security agencies to investigate swiftly.

The APC said investigators should examine internal disputes within the ADC.

It cited reported factional clashes and leadership struggles within the opposition party.

The APC denied any involvement in the incident and said it remains focused on governance.

It referenced recent electoral victories in the FCT, Kano, and Rivers States.

The party thanked Nigerians for their growing support and confidence.

It reaffirmed commitment to President Bola Tinubu’s reform and development agenda.
