A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Alwan Hassan (APC), has alleged that some party leaders lack genuine loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Hassan claimed that several ministers and governors within the party are not committed to the President’s leadership.

According to him, their support is driven more by political advantage than personal conviction.

“They don’t like him for who he is; they want him for what he is,” he stated.

The comment reflects ongoing internal concerns about loyalty and cohesion within the ruling party.

Political observers say such remarks highlight underlying tensions ahead of future elections.

The APC has not issued an official response to the statement.

Analysts note that internal unity will be critical as the party prepares for upcoming political contests.
