The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released an adjusted timetable for its 2026 nationwide congresses and national convention, alongside the schedule of fees and the list of members of the Central Coordination Committee.

According to the schedule issued by the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, ward and local government congress activities will commence with membership e-registration from Saturday, January 31 to Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Ward congresses are slated for Wednesday, February 18, while local government congresses, including the election of delegates to the national convention, will hold on Saturday, February 21. Appeals arising from the congresses will be concluded by February 23.

At the state level, APC said the state congresses will take place on Tuesday, March 3, with appeals concluding on Wednesday, March 4.

Zonal congresses across the six geopolitical zones are scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, while the national convention will hold from Friday, March 27 to Saturday, March 28, 2026.

The party also announced the constitution of the Central Coordination Committee for the convention, chaired by former Senate President, Senator Hope Uzodinma, with Senator AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as Vice Chairman and Senator Mai Mala Buni as Secretary.

On the cost of participation, APC fixed the expression of interest and nomination fees at ₦20,000 for ward chairmanship positions, ₦100,000 for local government chairmanship, ₦1 million for state chairmanship, and ₦10 million for the position of National Chairman.

The party noted that female aspirants, youths and persons with disabilities will enjoy concessions, paying only the cost of expression of interest and 50 per cent of nomination fees.

APC added that payments must be made directly into the party’s designated bank accounts, while the purchase and submission of forms will be conducted online.

However, Ekiti, Osun, Rivers States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) were excluded from ward, local government and state congresses, but will participate in the election of delegates to the national convention.
