President João Lourenço has authorized a $500 million investment to overhaul Angola’s coastal tourism infrastructure.
Financed by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, the project aims to attract international developers by installing essential utilities like roads, water, and power across key regions like Cabo Ledo and Namibe.
This initiative, part of the “Planifica Turismo” program and supported by the Kleber Group’s rebranding efforts, seeks to turn the 2025 “Best Tourism Investment Destination” into a premier African hub.
The Funding,$500M via Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group.
The Goal is to build “basic utilities” including roads, water, electricity to unlock private investment.
Key Regions affected are Cabo Ledo, Quicombo, and Namibe coastal corridors.
The Strategy is to Lower entry costs for investors to spark job creation and growth.
