A young Nigerian software engineer, Faruk Sani Aiman, is gaining attention in the technology space. He is developing artificial intelligence solutions that help businesses communicate better with their customers.

Aiman is from Jigawa State. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aymern AI and Automation, a company that builds intelligent AI systems for businesses across Northern Nigeria.

Through his company, Aiman develops AI voice agents that assist businesses with daily communication. These systems can answer business calls, reply to WhatsApp messages, and automatically respond to customer questions.

In addition, the technology works like a 24-hour digital receptionist. This means businesses can attend to customers even outside working hours.

According to Aiman, the goal is simple. The innovation helps businesses save time, reduce workload, and improve customer service.

Meanwhile, Aiman says his journey into technology started from a simple experience.

Speaking to S24 Television, he explained that he once worked as a data vendor. However, he noticed a challenge when many customers tried to reach him at once.

“I started as a vendor selling data, and sometimes the level of patronage was massive. Many customers went unattended because it was difficult to respond to everyone at once. That experience motivated me to think about a smarter solution,” he said.

Furthermore, Aiman said his participation in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme played an important role in shaping his career.

During his service year, he worked with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). According to him, the experience exposed him to new ideas in technology and innovation.

“The training and exposure I received at NITDA during my NYSC gave me the motivation to pursue my ideas,” he explained.

In addition, Aiman acknowledged the support he received from his family, friends, university lecturers, and NITDA. He described them as key contributors to his journey in the tech industry.

He also encouraged young people in Northern Nigeria to explore opportunities in technology and innovation.

Addressing Arewa youth, he urged them to develop practical skills and think creatively.

“Youth have a major role to play in technology and innovation. We must learn to think outside the box and not rely only on degree certificates,” he advised.

With innovations like those developed by Aymern AI and Automation, Aiman believes Northern Nigeria can become a strong hub for technology.

Therefore, he hopes more young innovators will develop solutions to real problems and drive development in the region.
