Adamu Atiku Resigns After Seven Years as Commissioner

Adamu Atiku, the Adamawa State Commissioner for Works and Energy Development, has resigned after serving for seven years.

The former commissioner announced the resignation on Monday, describing the role as a major honour in public service.

He expressed gratitude to Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, for the opportunity to serve.

He said the governor’s trust enabled him to contribute to infrastructure and energy development across the state.

The former commissioner also acknowledged the support of his parents, Atiku Abubakar and Hajiya Titi Atiku Abubakar.

He thanked them for moral guidance, prayers, and encouragement throughout his tenure.

He commended permanent secretaries, directors, engineers, and ministry staff for professionalism and dedication.

According to him, teamwork within the ministry advanced critical infrastructure projects statewide.

He also appreciated residents of Jada Local Government Area for consistent support and prayers.

The former commissioner said his resignation does not end his commitment to public service.

He noted that he remains committed to Adamawa’s unity, development, and long-term progress.
