The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and cost-free recruitment process, warning applicants to beware of fraudsters demanding payments or personal information under the guise of job placement.

In a statement signed by Okeh Juliet, Head of Press and Public Relations of the Board, the CDCFIB urged all applicants participating in its ongoing recruitment exercise to rely solely on official communication channels for authentic updates and notifications.

The Board emphasized that at no stage of the recruitment process will candidates be asked to pay any fee, disclose personal banking details, or make financial contributions to advance their applications.

Reiterating its dedication to fairness, integrity, and accountability, the CDCFIB said it remains steadfast in attracting the best-qualified candidates into Nigeria’s paramilitary services while protecting job seekers from scams and fraudulent activities.

“All candidates are encouraged to stay informed, remain vigilant, and report any suspicious demands or activities to the nearest security agency for prompt action,” the statement added.
